problem on Ditributivity

Topic :- Distributivity

In mathematics, and in particular in abstract algebra, distributivity is a property of binary operations that generalises the distributive law from elementary algebra help. For example:

Question:-

Solve
2ax + 3ay +2bx+ 3by

Answer:-

Given,

 2ax + 3ay +2bx+ 3by

group the similar terms

 (2ax+2bx) + (3ay+3by)

in first group 2 and x are common in both terms,Similarly in second group 3 and y are common,So let's pull them out of the brackets like

 [2x(a+b) + 3y(a+b)]

Here in whole equation (a+b) is common in both terms,so we can pull it out square brackets, like

  (a+b)[2x+3y] is the answer.
